Reasons to Celebrate This Month

935M Blog, Atlanta, GA — We bring you some holidays to celebrate this month. Invite friends over to your apartment and start celebrating!

July is the perfect time to get together with friends and enjoy each other’s company, in or out of our apartment community. The 935M Blog brings you some reasons to celebrate this month. Read on for some celebrations to have this month in Atlanta, GA.

Independence Day (July 4)

The Fourth of July is obviously a great day to celebrate this month. You can find lots of great events happening here in Atlanta, GA. Find a local event, invite friends to join you, and enjoy time together. Remember the freedoms we enjoy in this country and look for ways to serve others. Have a great day of parades, barbecues, and fireworks!

National Blueberry Day (July 8)

Who knew there was a national holiday for blueberries? Celebrate by buying some blueberries from your local grocery store or farmers market and find a delicious blueberry recipe (or eat them straight out of the container). We love this Blueberry Streusel Muffins recipe from Layers of Happiness. Try it out!

Hammock Day (July 22)

Hammocks are a great way to relax this summer. Invest in a hammock to hang on your porch, balcony, or at a park. Bring a good book and have a relaxing time. You can find some great hammocks online. Find one that fits your needs and enjoy!

National Hot Dog Day (July 23)

Host a hot dog bar to celebrate national hot dog day. Invite over your friends and family and use the outdoor grilling area at our apartment community. Put out some favorite (and unique) toppings for the perfect hot dog bar. Pull out the usual sauces along with a variety of peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, onions, sauerkraut, guacamole, and bacon. Make signs with suggested hot dog combinations. There are so many options out there, so be creative!

International Day of Friendship (July 30)

This is a great day to celebrate your friendships and reconnect with old friends. Have a movie night or summer dinner party and invite some friends you haven’t talked to in a while. You could also find a way to help out a friend in need or make a new friend with a neighbor.

We hope you get the chance to celebrate one of these holidays this month. Have fun celebrating!
